Samba is a skills development coach who has six years of experience as a youth coach. He has coached countless young players, so he has a feel for how to talk to them, how to treat them and through that how to work with them in training. Samba played for the USK Prague U19 team, with whom he won several titles. After this stint he decided to use this experience in skills development for young players. Samba has coached and trained several professional players such as Ondra Sehnal, Tomas Kyzlink, David Bohm and others.
Patrick Samoura is a basketball player who played in the KNBL (the highest Czech competition), the Czech national men’s team and also played three years in the USA at the university level. He spent two years in the Arizona desert at Cochise College (NJCAA) and one year in the state of Texas at UT Tyler. Patrick helped the men’s national team qualify for the 2022 Tokyo Olympics, won two ACCAC conference championships and several youth titles while playing for USK Prague. He also won a gold medal with the Czech Republic in the summer of 2023 at the university games in China.
First of all, it’s going to be a lot of hard work and grind. This isn’t your typical summer basketball camp where you’ll meet new people, have an incredible time, and have some peace and quiet. Of course that’s part of it, but the main goal of this camp is to learn things and habits that you can then use in basketball, but also in everyday life.
Basketball practices will be under the cap of Patrick and Samba Samour. Here you will be exposed to drills that will concentrate on dribbling, shooting, footwork, intelligence, coordination and more.
You must bring basketball shoes, outside shoes, shorts and t-shirts.
